Bhubaneswar: Amid the prevailing dry weather conditions, the night temple in Odisha is likely to fall by 2-4°C during the enxt 4-5 days, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Friday.
According to IMD’s extended weather outlook for 2 weeks, minimum temperature (night temperature) is likely to be 18-20°C in parts of coastal Odisha and parts of extreme South Odisha, 16-18°C over rest of coastal Odisha & adjoining districts and parts of interior Odisha and 12-16°C over the remaining parts of Odisha during November 15-21.
During November 22-28, the night temperature may hover between 16°C and 18°C in parts of coastal Odisha ad extreme South Odisha, 14-16°C over rest of coastal Odisha & adjoining districts and in parts of interior Odisha and 10-14°C over the remaining parts of Odisha. Minimum temperature is also likely to be normal over isolated pockets of coastal Odisha and below normal to appreciably below normal over remaining parts of Odisha, it added.
In the last 24 hours, G Udayagiri was the coldest at 12°C followed by Rourkela at 13.9°C, Jharsuguda and Angul at 14.6°C and Phulbani & Daringbadi at 15°C each. The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded above normal temperature at 19.2°C and 20°C respectively.
