Bhubaneswar: While coastal districts of Odisha could not witness the last sunrise of the year 2024 due to low clouds, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday forecast further dip in the night temperature across the state during the next two days.
The minimum temperature is likely to fall by 2-4 degree Celsius during the next 2 days with no large change thereafter, according to the midday bulletin.
The weather agency has also warned of dense fog at one or two places in Kandhamal, Angul and Koraput districts till Wednesday morning. Shallow to moderate fog may also occur at one or two places in Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar and Nayagarh.
Kalahandi, Balangir, Sonepur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar and Nayagarh districts are likely to experience shallow to moderate fog during the subsequent 24 hours.
