Bhubaneswar: The night temperature in Odisha is likely to drop by 2-4 degree Celsius after 3 days amid continuing rainfall activity till December 6, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Tuesday.
“There will be no large change in the minimum temperature during the next 3 days. It will thereafter fall by 2-4°C during subsequent 2 days across the state.”
According to the weather agency, light to moderate rain may occur at one or two places in Puri, Khurda, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri districts on December 3, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri on December 4, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri on December 5 and Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri districts on December 6.

Dry weather is likely to prevail across the state thereafter.
Meanwhile, the well marked low pressure area, remnant of Cyclone Fengal, persisted over coastal Karnataka and adjoining east central Arabian sea. It is likely to move west-northwestwards over eastcentral Arabian sea during next 2 days. It is likely to maintain the intensity for next 24 hours and weaken gradually thereafter.
