Bhubaneswar: Daringbadi was the coldest at 10.5 degree Celsius followed by G Udaygiri at 10.8 degree Celsius and Similiguda at 11 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department informed on Sunday.
“There will be no large change in the night temperature during the next 3 days and the mercury will gradually fall by 3 to 4 degree Celsius thereafter,” it added

The MeT office has also issued Yellow warning (thunderstorm with lightning) for one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal till 8.30 am on January 24.
During this period, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places in North Odisha and at one or two places in South Odisha.
Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri and Koraput are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershower during the subsequent 24 hours, Shallow to moderate fog is also likely to occur at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Angul, Bolangir, Boudh, Kandhamal and Kalahandi till 8. 30 am on January 25.
The IMD has forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower at one or two places in South Coastal Odisha, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri from 8. 30 am on January 25 to 8. 30 am on January 26. Interior Odisha, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur and Cuttack will witness shallow to moderate fog during this period.
Following this, a dry period will prevail in the state, it added.
