Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha are likely to experience light to moderate rain over the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Thursday.
In a bulletin, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said light to moderate rain is expected in parts of Koraput, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kandhamal, and Malkangiri districts in the next 24 hours.
Shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Kalhandi, Keonjhar during the period.
Similar weather conditions are likely to prevail in Sundargarh, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Angul, and Gajapati districts on Sunday.
For Monday, the IMD predicts light showers in Gajapati, Nayagarh, and Ganjam districts.
No weather warning has been issued by the IMD for the next five days.
The weather agency further stated that the night temperature will start falling again in different parts of the state from Saturday.
There will be no large change in the minimum temperature (night temperature) for next 24 hours. Thereafter, night temperature is likely to fall by 2-4 oC for subsequent four days in the state.
