Bhubaneswar: While there is a forecast for rain till November 7, many places in Odisha are likely to witness a gradual fall in the night temperature by 3-4 degree Celsius after two days, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre informed on Sunday.
November 5
Light to moderate rain/thundershower may occur at one or two places in coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
November 6
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is likely at one or two places in South Coastal Odisha, Koraput, Rayagada and Malkangiri
November 7
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is expected at one or two places in Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri
Dry weather is likely to prevail across the state thereafter, the weather agency added.
Notably, the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack and a few more places experienced light to moderate rainfall under the influence of western disturbance on November 6. Bhubaneswar received 12 mm rain by 5.30 pm while Cuttack recorded 8 mm rain during the period. Talcher received the day’s highest of 30 mm rain, according to the MeT office.
