Bhubaneswar: Amid a weeklong dry weather forecast, the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) here on Sunday said that the night temperature is likely to fall by about 2°C at many places in Odisha during the next two days.
In the last 24 hours, G. Udaygiri in Kandhamal district recorded the minimum temperature of 8.2°C followed by Daringbadi and Phulabani at 11°C.
The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded 15.5°C and 17.1°C respectively.
The IMD has predicted shallow to moderate fog at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Boudh, Kandhamal, Koraput and Malkangiri till 8.30 am on Monday.
According to the midday bulletin, Bhubaneswar will experience fog or mist on Monday morning and have an overcast sky. The maximum and minimum temperature is very likely to be around 33°C and 17°C respectively.
Shallow to moderate fog is also likely to prevail at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, the following morning ( Tuesday).
