Bhubaneswar: Reeling under intense cold, Odisha is likely to experience a slight rise in night temperature after 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Saturday.
In a weather bulletin, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that night temperature in the state is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius after Sunday. The mercury is likely to hover around 12-14 degree Celsius in twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack during the next one week.
The weather agency also forecast a foggy weekend for different parts of the state for the next 24 hours.

“Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Koraput and Angul,” the weather agency said in its bulletin.
Similarly, shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at one or two places in Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Khurda, and Cuttack.
