New Delhi: India on Thursday successfully carried out the night trial of a ballistic missile off the coast of Odisha, news agency ANI said.
The ‘night-firing’ test was carried out by the Strategic Force Command (SFC) of the Tri-Services, the news agency said.
It, however, did not elaborate the class or the name of the missile that was test-fired.
In October last year, the SFC had undertaken the night trial of nuclear-capable Agni-1 ballistic missile from Abdul Kalam Island in Bhadrakh district. According to media reports, the test was undertaken as part of a periodic training activity.
