Nikunja Dhal Appointed As Revenue And Disaster Management Secretary

Bhubaneswar: In a minor reshuffle in the senior IAS cadre, the Odisha government on Monday appointed senior IAS officer of 1993 batch Nikunja Bihari Dhal as the Principal Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management.

Dhal, who will replace his predecessor Bishnupada Sethi, has been given the additional charge of principal secretary, Excise.

Besides, 1992 batch IAS Dr Chandra Sekhar Kumar has been appointed as Chairman of the Odisha State Warehousing Corporation (OSWC), while 1999 batch IAS Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma will take charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Science & Technology, the notification added.
