New Delhi: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has cancelled the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) 2020 Board examinations.
The component committee has decided to announce the results on the basis of assessment scheme.
“Keeping in view the health of the learners, #NIOS public #exams scheduled to be held in July 2020 now stand cancelled. The results will be declared based on the assessment scheme finalized by the competent committee of @niostwit,” tweeted Ministry of HRD.
When the situation improves, students who have registered themselves for the NIOS 2020 Board exams will be given the option to appear in the next Public exam or On-Demand Exam to improve their performance.
The Class X and XII NIOS Board examinations were scheduled to be held from July 17, 2020.
