Bhubaneswar: After capturing the top slot in JIMPER-2017 entrance examination, Nipun Chandra from Odisha has secured the fourth rank in the test for entry to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) MBBS, the results of which were declared on Thursday morning.
Nipun (17) is a student of DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, in the city.
This year, Nishita Purohit from Surat (Gujarat) has emerged as the all-India topper by securing 91.4 per cent. Students can log on to www.aiimsexams.org to check their results.
Over 1.5 lakh medical aspirants had taken the entrance test on May 28. The examination was held for 700 seats of AIIMS New Delhi and six others at Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Raipur, Rishikesh and Bhopal.
The first counselling for the shortlisted candidates will be held from July 3 to 6, sources said.
