Bhubaneswar/Mumbai: Close on the heels of the massive scam in the Punjab National Bank (PNB), a local court in Mumbai on Friday remanded Bishnubrata Mishra, a retired Odia official of the bank to the CBI custody till March 14.
A native of Keonjhar district, Mishra was arrested by the Central investigating agency on Thursday.
According to CBI, Mishra was responsible for concurrent audit for the year 2011-2015 at the PNB’s Brady House branch in Mumbai.
Besides, he was also responsible for auditing the procedures and practices followed in the branch and report them, the CBI pointed out.
