Rourkela: Following the detection of four COVID-19 cases, the National Institute of Technology (NIT)-Rourkela decided to conduct the upcoming semester exams in online mode.
The development came after students protested against the administration’s plan to hold end-semester exams via offline mode despite a spike in COVID-19 infections in the state.
Via a notification, the NIT-Rourkela said that the institute will not be responsible for any internet issue arising at the end-semester exams in online mode. NIT has announced the schedule of the examination.
