Mumbai: There was no relief for Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami on Friday as the Bombay High Court hearing on his interim bail plea remained incomplete.
The division bench of Justices SS Shinde and MS Karnik will continue the hearing on Saturday, the Hindustan Times reported.
“We will assemble for this matter specially tomorrow noon,” the court said.
Goswami was picked up from his Mumbai residence after a two-hour drama on Wednesday morning and taken to Alibaug in connection with the 2018 abetment of suicide case of architect Anvay Naik and his mother.
Remanded in judicial custody till November 18, Goswami is lodged in a school which is a designated COVID-19 centre for the Alibaug jail.
