Bhubaneswar: As the nation worries over the spread of new COVID-19 strain, here’s some good news for Odisha.
For the first time in over six months, no COVID deaths have been reported in Odisha on January 5, informed Health and Family Welfare Department on Wednesday.
Happy to share that after over six months, there are no Covid deaths reported in the State on 5th January 2021. We salute our Covid Warriors whose tireless efforts have made this possible.

The tireless efforts of COVID Warriors have made this possible, the department stated.
Notably, the COVID-19 death toll in Odisha went up to 1,882 till January 4.
