Bhubaneswar: There have been no posts on new COVID cases in Odisha on I & PR official handle for the last four days. The last update on the Health Department website is of November 11 when 8 infections were detected from 7,322 samples with a test positivity rate of 0.10%.
The active tally as on November 11 was 108.
After six cases each on November 6 and November 7, the caseload had increased to 26 on November 9, according to the I & PR department handle. There have been no updates since then.
“There has been a consistency in the downward trend of COVID cases. Only 8-10 COVID cases are being recorded every day,” Public Health Director Niranjan Mishra told Odisha Bytes on Sunday.
When asked why there had been no updates in the last few days, he said that it could be because cases are being reported in single digits.
