Bhubaneswar: Amid the gloom cast by COVID-19, here is a reason for people of Odisha to cheer: the impending low pressure over South Andaman Sea will have no impact on the eastern state, said the weatherman on late Monday evening.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the low pressure area expected to form over South Andaman Sea on April 30 is likely to will into a depression and move along Andaman and Nicobar Islands towards Myanmar coast between April 30 and May 3.
