Puri: The general darshan of the sibling deities at Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri will remain shut for four hours on Monday for Khasapada Lagi Niti.
The special ritual will be conducted from 6 pm to 10 pm and during this period, devotees will not be allowed darshan of the Lords inside Srimandir, informed Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA),.
The special ritual will be performed after the second prasad at the Bhoga Mandap is offered to the deities.
The secret ritual is conducted on a few occasions. It is specially conducted for Shreepayars (holy feet) of the deities, who are covered with white clothes.
