Mumbai: Bollywood lost some eminent personalities this year, and the loss has created a void in the film industry.
According to a Mumbai Mirror report, unlike every year, B-town biggies Amitabh Bachchan and Ekta Kapoor will not be throwing any lavish Diwali party this year on account of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor’s demise.
Rishi’s sister, Ritu Nanda (related to Shweta Bachchan Nanda) passed away in January this year. A couple of months later, in April, Rishi lost his battle to cancer.
Following the deaths of their dear ones, Bachchans have scrapped their Diwali party.
The Balaji honcho, Ekta Kapoor, who loves to celebrate Diwali with great pomp and show, considers Rishi to be a family member.
On account of Rishi’s unfortunate death this year, Ekta too will not be hosting any star-studded Diwali party.
