Puri: In order to prevent large congregation on the occasion of ‘Amla Nabami’ and ‘Bada Ekadasi’, the district administration has decided to impose Section 144 around Sakhigopal Temple.
As per the decision, devotees will not be allowed to have Radha Pada darshan in the temple on November 12. Last year also, the administration had imposed prohibitory orders in 200 meters around the temple on the occasion.
Similarly, the devotees will be prevented to visit the temple on the occasion of ‘Bada Ekadashi’ on November 15. The administration will impose Section 144 around the temple on this day also.
The Puri district administration has decided to clamp prohibitory orders under Section 144 on these two days – November 12 and 15 in view of the pandemic.
The administration has taken the decision to prevent spread of COVID among the devotees in case of gathering on the two occasions.
