Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has requested all health workers to come forward for the COVID-19 vaccination.
Talking to mediapersons, Director, Health and Family Welfare, Bijay Panigrahi said that the Centre has decided to give free vaccination to all health workers and all in Odisha are requested to voluntarily come forward to avail the opportunity of free vaccination. If they refuse, they will not get the free vaccination further.
Stating that there was 102 per cent vaccination of 32,526 health workers in 375 sessions on Monday, Panigrahi said 16,216 health workers will be vaccinated today in 192 sessions.
Panigrahi also informed that barring seven cases of minor reactions, there has been no report of severe side effects of the vaccines in the state till date.
