Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to witness light to moderate rainfall on Sunday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Saturday.
Though the Met office did not forecast heavy rainfall till August 31, it issued yellow warning for thunderstorm for Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput districts till 8.30 am on August 28.
The same warning has been issued for Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore districts from 8.30 am on August 28 till 8.30 am on August 29.
