Bhubaneswar: Mission Director, NHM, Shalini Pandit on Friday ordered for suspension of Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Day (VHSND) and the fixed immunization day in sub-centre areas with COVID-19 positive cases for four weeks.
The NMH had earlier asked these centres to hold the sessions by maintaining social distancing, mobilizing beneficiaries in staggered manner and advised ANMs to use face mask and hand hygiene practice by ANMs and sanitize weighing scale and thermometer after every use.
