Gangster Sheikh Hyder injured in police encounter near Balasore.
Cuttack: Even as Commissionerate Police are on the lookout for dreaded gangster Sheikh Hyder who escaped from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, the hospital’s superintendent on Thursday said there was no information regarding his shifting from Sambalpur.
Talking to mediapersons, SCB superintendent Dr Lusy Das said the hospital authorities had allotted the cabin to Hyder in the surgery ward in accordance with the rules.
Asked about the investigation, she said the hospital authorities have handed over all documents, pertaining to the treatment of the gangster, to the police.
Apart from the documents, police have also collected details from the head of the Surgery Department and other officials of the hospital on this matter.
