No Let-Up In COVID Deaths In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The fatalities due to COVID-19 continued to remain above 40 on Friday as 43 more patients succumbed to the deadly disease in the last 24 hours.

According to Health Department sources, these deaths have been reported from 17 districts.

Khurda saw the highest of five fatalities, followed by four from Angul, three each from Boudh and Kalahandi, two each from Balasore, Ganjam, Jharsuguda, Kendrapada, Puri, and Rayagada and one each from Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, and Sambalpur.

Details of the deceased are,

1.A 70 years old Male of Angul  district.

2.A 75 years old Male of Angul district.

3.A 75 years old Male of Angul  district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

4.A 50 years old Male of Angul  district who was also suffering from Asthma.

5.A 37 years old Male of Balasore district.

6.A 40 years old Male of Balasore district.

7.A 62 years old Female of Baragarh district.

8.A 64 years old Female of Bargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Obesity.

9.A 60 years old Male of Bargarh district.

10.A 62 years old Female of Bargarh district.

11.A 81 years old Male of Boudh district.

12.A 45 years old Male of Boudh district.

13.A 50 years old Male of Boudh district.

14.A 44 years old Male of Bhubaneswar district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

15.A 79 years old Male of Bhubaneswar district who was also suffering from Acute Kidney Injury.

16.A 55 years old Female of Bhubaneswar district .

17.A 76 years old Male of Bhubaneswar district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.

18.A 79 years old Male of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Coronary Artery disease.

19.A 64 years old Male of Cuttack district .

20.A 76 years old Female of Cuttack district .

21.A 55 years old Male of Cuttack district .

22.A 44 years old Male of Dhenkanal district .

23.A 48 years old Male of Ganjam district .

24.A 48 years old Female of Ganjam district .

25.A 75 years old Male of Jharsuguda district .

26.A 42 years old Female of Jharsuguda district .

27.A 45 years old Female of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

28.A 50 years old Male of Kalahandi district .

29.A 49 years old Female of Kalahandi district .

30.A 52 years old Male of Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

31.A 48 years old Male of Kendrapara district .

32.A 60 years old Male of Kendrapara district .

33.A 61 years old Male of Khurdha district .

34.A 47 years old Male of Nayagarh district .

35.A 84 years old Female of Puri district .

36.A 34 years old Male of Puri district .

37.A 60 years old Male of Rayagada district .

38.A 40 years old Female of Rayagada district .

39.A 23 years old Male of Sambalpur district .

40.A 46 years old Female of Sundargarh district.

41.A 44 years old Male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

42.A 37 years old Male of Sundargarh district.

43.A 50 years old Male of Sundargarh district.

The total number of deaths in the state has touched 3,210.
