Bhubaneswar: There will be no major change in the maximum temperature across Odisha for the next four to five days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday.
The day temperature is likely to be 40°C and more in some places in the interior districts, it added.
According to the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain or thunder shower is very likely to occur at one or two places in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsingpur, Puri, Khurda, Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh and Kandhamal districts.
As for Bhubaneswar, the IMD predicted partly cloudy sky with possibility of development of thunder or lightning in the next 24 hours. The maximum temperature is very likely to be around 38°C and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 26°C, it said.
