Bhubaneswar: No critical paediatric COVID patient in Odisha is on ventilator support.
According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, the occupancy for 179 beds with ventilator support for the paediatric patients was nil till September 5.
Two babies were admitted to the ICU. With 674 ICU/HDU beds available for this group, the occupancy is 0.3 per cent, the data showed.
Similarly, the occupancy rate of general beds is 0.82 per cent. Only 13 babies were admitted to the 1,585 beds available in the general COVID ward till September 5, it added.
