Bhubaneswar: Unlike previous years, the private TV channels will not be allowed to directly telecast the Snana Yatra of the deities of Jagannath temple in Puri this time due to COVID-19 and have to take the common feed from I&PR department.
Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Krishan Kumar has written to Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department to make arrangements for live telecast and webcast of Snana Yatra of Lord Jagannath and his siblings to be held on June 5. The Shree Jagannath Temple Office has written a letter to the State Government in this regard.
However, the feed of the live telecast can be shared with private TV channels.
