Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department on Monday said that it has no plans to conduct undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) examinations in Odisha at the moment.
In a letter to all degree college principals and university vice-chancellors, commissioner-cum-secretary, Higher Education, Saswat Mishra said that though online classes are being conducted across the state in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, several students are deprived of the facility due to different reasons. Under such circumstances, it is not desirable to hold UG and PG examinations.
Stating that the academic session has been badly hit due to the pandemic situation, he said that holding examinations will be considered only after resumption of classroom teaching and completion of syllabus.
