Bhubaneswar: In a proud moment for Odisha, an Odia girl based in Noida, Amrita Behura is among the CBSE XII Board exam toppers in the country with an aggregate 499 out of total 500 marks.
A student of Cambridge School, she has scored 99.80 per cent in the exams, a congratulatory message by the educational institution on its social media page stated.
Aiming to become an economist, Amrita plans to join Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi University to pursue her dream. Amrita had secured A1 grade in all subjects.
She is the daughter of Amiya Kumar and Meeta Rani, natives of Kendrapada district. While Amiya works with GM (Construction) at IOCL in Noida, mother is posted with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
The COVID pandemic impacted her a lot following which she founded ‘BAYAAN’ club in her school. The club carries out a successful voluntary student initiative to help COVID patients during the pandemic, according to reports.
