New Delhi: HMD Global has unveiled the successor to Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 8.1. The phone has been priced at Rs 26,999.
The Nokia 8.1 has a 6.18-inch FHD+ notch display with 81 per cent screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 chipset with Adreno 616 GPU. It will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, according to reports.
The rear camera is a Zeiss-lens dual camera setup with 13MP primary and 12MP secondary unit. The camera supports OIS +EIS and 2PD. In the front is a 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera has a pixel size of 0.9 microns, and 4-in-1 pixel technology for improved low-light photography. The cameras are equipped with AI depth of field, AI scene recognition to identify 18 different scenes and beauty mode.
The company claims a 2-days battery life courtesy the 3500mAh battery, which supports fast charging as well. The charger is a 18W unit.
Being an Android One device, it comes with Android 9 Pie pre-installed.
It comes in two dual-colour combos – Blue/Silver & Iron/Steel.
The phone can be pre-ordered now on Amazon, Nokia.com as well as offline stores. Deliveries will begin from December 21.
