Bhubaneswar: Noted lawyer Pratap Das breathed his last at a private hospital here on Sunday. He was 63.
He is survived by his wife Sanjukta Das and daughter advocate Shivangi Das.
Several lawyers, judges from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar and MLA Amar Prasad Satpathy paid their tribute to Das at his Lewis Road residence here. He was cremated at Puri in the afternoon.
Das was the former secretary and former vice president of Bhubaneswar Bar Association, and vice-chairman of Advocate Welfare Trust, Bhubaneswar.
He is the son of late former bureaucrat Gananath Das.
