Notify Date For Bar Association Polls, Orissa HC Tells State Bar Council

Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Monday directed the State Bar Council to notify the date for the election to all district Bar associations.

As per the HC directive, the State Bar Council has to issue a notification to this effect by the end of November and announce the results after completing the poll process by December 15.

Earlier, the State Bar Council had twice announced the schedule for the election to all Bar associations. However, the polls were deferred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
