New Delhi: As the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic sweeps through India, healthcare workers are being hit hard once again.
At least 35 members of staff, including doctors and nurse, of All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) Delhi have contracted coronavirus.
Delhi reported around 7,500 fresh cases of Covid-19 at a time when the country is going through the second wave of coronavirus.
Over the past few weeks, about 40 doctors of Delhi’s Sir Gangaram Hospital have been infected with the virus after receiving both vaccine doses.
Similar was the case at King George’s Medical University in Lucknow, where 40 doctors tested COVID-19 positive last week.
