Mumbai: A day after Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik was arrested in a money-laundering case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was learnt to have summoned his brother Kaptan Malik for questioning.
ANI reported that Kaptan has been called for the same money-laundering case linked to Dawood Ibrahim.
Leaders of Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party and Congress staged protests over Nawab’s arrest.
BJP, on the other hand, continued their demand for the sacking of the arrested minister.
The Maharashtra government, however, has ruled out dismissing Nawab and vowed to fight for him.
