Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) revised its COVID-19 guidelines on Monday, making it mandatory for travellers arriving at Biju Patnaik International Airport to undergo the RT-PCR test.
The BMC will also collect the detailed address of all the passengers as there is a possibility that some of them may test positive.
Sources said the revised guidelines will be implemented immediately and two teams of BMC and Health Department officials has been deployed at the airport.
As per the earlier guidelines, BMC had made RT-PCR negative report compulsory for the passengers deboarding at the airport.
