Bhubaneswar: From Tuesday, Bhubaneswar denizens can report incidents of street crime on WhatsApp number– 7077798111 – to be launched by the Twin City Commissionerate Police.
According to sources, the complainants can also share information, photos, videos of the crimes/criminals on the instant messaging platform.
Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash said the identity of the complainant will remain confidential.
“Quick reporting of such crimes will help police to track and apprehend the culprits,” he added.
