Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for 18 districts of Odisha, including twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 4.20 pm.
Moderate rain/thundershower with lightning may affect some parts of Bhadrak, Balsore, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Koraput, Jajpur, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Rayagada, Kendrapada, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack (including Cuttack City), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar), Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
