Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department, in its latest nowcast, warned of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm in eight districts of Odisha, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 5 pm on Monday.
Light to moderate shower is likely in some places in Malkanagiri, Koraput, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapada, Nayagarh, Cuttack (including Cuttack city) and Khurda (including Bhubaneswar City) during the next 3 hours.
People are advised to move into safer places to avoid any possibility of lightning strikes.
