Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued a nowcast warning for 15 districts, including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, till 6 pm.
Thunderstorm with hail and lightning and light to moderate rain is likely in some parts of Nuapada, Balangir, Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Khurda and Cuttack district during the next three hours.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
