Nowcast Warning: Thunderstorm, Gusty Wind & Rain To Lash Odisha In 3 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued nowcast warning for twelve districts of Odisha till 6.15 pm on

Light to moderate thunderstorm with gusty wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph, lightning and light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of Nuapada, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, and Jharsuguda. Thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rain is also likely in some parts of Kalahandi, Koraput, Nayagarh, Bargarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Khurda in next 3 hours.

People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places protect themselves from lightning strike.
