Bhubaneswar: NRIs celebrated Snana Purnima celebrated with much pomp and gaiety as per the traditions at Fremont in California on Monday.
The rituals of Snana Purnima were performed as they are done at Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri.
The divine deities were taken to Snana Bedi at Fremont Hindu Temple in a procession called Pahandi. After performing puja, 108 pitchers of herbal and aromatic water was used to bathe the three sibling deities.
More than 400 NRIs were present on the occasion.
