OCA Announces Dates For Online & Offline Sale Of Tickets For IND-SA T20 Match At Barabati

Bhubaneswar: Tickets for the India vs South Africa T20 International match, scheduled for December 9 at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, will go live on December 1, the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) announced on Monday.

OCA Secretary Sanjay Behera further informed that tickets will also be available at six designated counters at the stadium starting December 5. “To streamline public access to match tickets, a combination of online booking and physical counter distribution was finalised during a meeting at the District Collector’s office,” he said.

Behera added that the online booking system has been strengthened to ensure smoother transactions and avoid technical glitches witnessed during previous events.

Tickets will be distributed to cricket association–affiliated organisations on December 3 and 4, he added.

Earlier this month, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi had directed OCA and the state administration to ensure flawless arrangements with top security for the upcoming match. Ticket sales, along with spectator facilities, lighting, stadium infrastructure, fire safety, parking and traffic management, were also discussed at the review meeting on November 12, while stressing on conducting it without any lapses.

In the backdrop of the Delhi blast, the CM also emphasised the need for a robust security plan. He also stressed on setting up a green corridor for emergency medical evacuations and the need for effective crowd control and transparent ticket distribution.
