Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) has appointed Dinesh Mongia as the head coach of Odisha Senior Men team and Rumeli Dhar as the head coach of Senior Women team for 2023-24 season.
OCA secretary Sanjay Behera, in a release on Monday, said the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting was held at the association office on the appointment of support staff for Odisha team for the BCCI Domestic Season 2023-24.
Earlier, the OCA had received CVs of various candidates for the posts of Head Coach of Senior Men Team, Head Coach of Senior Women Team and member of Selection Committees for Senior Men, Junior Men & Women in response to the employment advertisement placed in the OCA’s website.
All the candidates went through the interview process conducted by CAC. The CAC has selected Mongia and Dhar on the basis of their coaching experience, expertise and credentials.
