OCA To Conduct Talent Hunt Camp For Spinners At Cuttack; Check Who Can Apply & How

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) will conduct a Talent Hunt Camp for spinners as part of its ambitious VISION@2024 programme.

The camp will be held from April 27 to May 6 at Cuttack.

Cricketers aged between 15 and 30 years can enrol for the talent hunt camp, provided they have never represented the Odisha state team in any age-group – Senior, U-25, U-23, U-19 and U-16.

A maximum of 300 players can enrol for the camp, on a first come, first served basis.

The acouters for the talent hunt camp will be Senior selectors, Junior selectors and OCA’s newly-appointed Senior men’s Head Coach Dinesh Mongia, a former India international.

The preliminary camp will be conducted in three batches, followed by a second phase camp with 30 probables.

Venkatapathy Raju, another former Team India player, will conduct a spinner specific camp in June. The selected 30 spinners will train under Raju’s guidance in the second phase of this Talent Hunt programme.

Terms, Conditions & Other Details

* A player must register himself by filling up the Google form through the provided link

* Last date of submission of the online form is April 25 by 1 pm

* Date of reporting is April 26

* Camp will be conducted in 3 batches — 1st batch from April 27 to 30; 2nd batch from May 1 to 3; 3rd batch from May 4 to 6

* Date of reporting for players is one day prior to start date of respective batches

* List of 300 selected players batchwise to be published on social media handles of OCA & OCA website on April 25 evening

* Players must carry own cricket shoes & whites (upper & lower), Identity proof, Birth Certificate & Residence Certificate.
