Odia Actor Ardhendu & Pallabi Maharathy Say ‘I Do’; Guv & CM Bless The Newlyweds

Bhubaneswar: Odia actor Ardhendu Sundar Sahu tied the nuptial knot with Pallabi, daughter of Pipili MLA Pradeep Maharathy, on Wednesday (February 26).

The stellar wedding was solemnised at Biju Patnaik ground, Baramund, in the Odisha capital. A palace was built at the wedding venue with red carpet rolled out for the guests, which included Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy and 5T Secretary V K Pandian, among others.

Governor Ganeshi Lal also blessed the newlywed couple.

Happy pictures of their Mehendi and Sangeet ceremony had earlier gone viral on media. The ring ceremony was held in January.

Pallabi is a doctor by profession, while Ardhendu is active in both Odia and Bengali film industries. Ardhendu made his debut in the bilingual movie ‘A Aa Harsei’ in 2015. He was also seen in ‘Tapori’ and ‘Blackmail’. His latest release was ‘Mu Paradeshi Chadhei’, in January.

The wedding reception will be at Nayapalli Idcol Ground on Friday (February 28).
