Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Bidusmita Dash Mantry of Badhu Nuhen Mu Bandhu fame joined the BJP at the party’s state headquarters here on Thursday.
Senior leaders Dharmendra Pradhan, Baijayant Panda and Arun Singh, along with actor-turned-politician Anu Choudhury, were present at the joining event.
The saffron party boasts of a plethora of Ollywood actors like Mihir Das, Mahasweta, Aparajita Mohanty, Pinki Pradhan, Pintu Nanda and Sritam Das.
