Odia Actor Pintu Nanda To Leave For Treatment In New Delhi Tomorrow

Cuttack: Popular Odia actor Pintu Nanda will fly to New Delhi on Tuesday for treatment of liver cirrhosis on the advice of doctors in Odisha’s Cuttack.

According to his family sources, Nanda will leave for New Delhi from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday morning. He will undergo treatment at a private hospital in the national capital.

Nanda, who was admitted to a private clinic in Cuttack a week back, was diagnosed with cirrhosis of liver due to chronic hepatitis. Later, he consulted specialists in Bhubaneswar. He was advised to go to New Delhi for specialised treatment which would cost a whopping Rs 50 lakh.

The Ollywood actors and actresses had made an appeal to Odia cine lovers on social media, seeking financial help for the treatment of Nanda as he could not afford the costly treatment from his own sources.

Nanda, who has been acting for 15 years, is known for playing negative roles.
