Bhubaneswar: Odia Actor Sabyasachi Mishra will be conferred with ‘Mahatma Gandhi Seva Samman’ Award 2020 by the state unit of National Scout Guide Fellowship.
The actor will be awarded for having turned Good Samaritan for migrant workers of Odisha stranded at different places amid COVID-19 lockdown.
Also, President of the National Scout Guide Fellowship, MK Mickey will be honoured with Lal Bahadur Peace Ambassador.
According to sources, the award was announced in the presence of State President Kali Mishra, Vice President and Padma Shree awardee Dilip Tirkey, Actress Archita Sahu, Dr Pranab Mohapatra, Guru Pitambar Bishwal, Editor Rusi Patnaik, informed Public Information Officer of the organization, Gajendranath Behera.
